Our trip to Kashmir was truly a riveting experience. We visited Srinagar, Pahalgam, Tangmarg, Gulmarg and Sonamarg and were lucky enough to see the snowfall. It was very cold. Middle-aged people can manage, but it will be difficult for kids and old-aged people.

Flight tickets:

There are two ways in which you can commute to Kashmir from Chennai. One is via Delhi and other is through the layover at Mumbai. We went through Indigo airways and it was hassle-free.

Languages:

We came to know that apart from Hindi, Kashmir is also spoken in Kashmir.

Unique Experiences:

We went on a Gondalos cable car ride and reached the top of Gulmarg which is at an altitude of 14000 feet above sea level. The stay at the Dal Lake in Srinagar was enticing. We stayed in the boat house and it was way too cold. The horse ride to the Thajwas glacier at Sonamarg was an astounding experience, as it was extremely cold, and we only had our eyes uncovered in our bodies. Every vehicle, be it a car or van, was chained to provide additional support while driving in the snow. To sum it up, it was an enthralling trip with great memories and no regrets😊✨️.
